Welcome to the Ursa Minors
America's FIRST youth astronomy club!
A division of the Westchester Amateur Astronomers.
About The Ursa Minors
In November 2023, the Westchester Amateur Astronomers created
Ursa Minors, the clubs youth division. It is a special subdivision of WAA that creates outreach and programming to astronomy enthusiasts under 25 years of age. The goal of the Ursa
Minors is to bring eyes to eyepieces and ignite people's passions
in astronomy. Our programs target ages 8 to 25.
The Ursa Minors is America's first and only youth astronomy club,
but it won't be the last.
